Recently both P7s got together to ask our MSP Liam McArthur, and our MP Alistair Carmichael, some searching questions about local and national issues as part of their Democracy topic and to gather material for BBC School Report on the 11th March.
They asked about transport and whether the governement is planning to put more money into public transport and other rural areas so that people do not need to use their cars as much and to support safe cycle paths for people who do not drive.
They also asked about whether the goverment would be putting more money into better sports facilities for schools to support the required anmount of physical exercise schools are required to provide.
They asked whether Mr Carmichael thought it was important for Scotland to keep as many devolved powers to itself as possible.
When the camera was turned off they asked a few more personal questions such as,
'What or who inspired you to become a member of Parliament?'
and, 'Do you have any time for sports activities yourself?'
